What is Sunrise?

Sunrise is software for Retailers. It has been developed by Casnet, entrepreneurs who saw the need to make it easier to run and grow a business. The team has struggled through the same difficulties that retailers are experiencing and over the past 10 years, listened to hundreds of business owners, managers, and marketeers to grow Sunrise.


Sunrise believes that Retailers should focus on their core business, so that they can make the transition needed to satisfy the "Connected Customer". Sunrise wants to free Retailers of IT-worries, by offering them a virtual IT department for OmniChannel Retail Operations.

Not built in one day

Sunrise was not built in one day. Development started in 1997 and was focussed to deliver solutions for e-commerce and content management. Cloud based already, it was possible to setup and run online stores with the help of Sunrise software running in a browser. Soon after, the Sunrise software was extended with modules to manage logistics and order fulfilment. Subsequently, modules were built to deal with B2B and B2C Point-of-Sale operations.


Sunrise is Cloud. All data and applications reside in safe locations on the Sunrise datacenters. Business continuity is guaranteed by automatic back-up and replication services. Sunrise software is web-based, never needs to be installed and runs on all devices with online web browsers.
